Muggings & Assaults in Seward Neighborhood

As previously mentioned on this blog (and commented on by Council Member Cam Gordon), there have been several "robberies of person" (muggings) and "aggravated assaults" in Seward since December 1. The only vague details that I can find right now are from the PDF crime maps distributed on the Minneapolis Police Department web site. (I am assuming that an "assault" might include a robbery but I'm not sure.) The MPD maps I referenced are stored at the Profile Scribd site.

I would like more information about all of these incidents but I haven't been able to find it at the MPD site. Uniform Crime Reports are available but only through November. Plus these reports only have totals for the City and precincts so you can't drill down to neighborhoods. They are also in an Adobe PDF format although you can see from some of the error entries that the PDF was made from an Excel file. It would be better to share the Excel file in addition to the PDF as it allows for data analysis by those so inclined.

I know that some of these incidents are not in Seward but they are near enough and on major travel arteries that I thought they should be included.
