Free Wi-Fi spots should be available in Seward

Free USIW Wi-Fi hotspots are supposed to be available around the City now (total of 117). I’ve attached the map for south Minneapolis.

I tried one in Standish Neighborhood this morning with my iPod Touch and could not find a way to access the system and create an account. You do have to have a credit card for creating the account although you won’t be charged. (I really wish they could have figured out a way to do this for people that don’t have credit cards.)

I have since tested the system from the northwest corner of Franklin & 26th Ave. I made it to the login screen but declined to enter my credit card information at this time. It looks like it works.Peter
