Facilitators needed for restorative justice program

Seward Longfellow Restorative Justice Partnership provides a community alternative to juvenile court for misdemeanor offenses happening in the Seward and Greater Longfellow neighborhoods.  We bring youth offenders, victims, community members and trained facilitators together in a conference to repair the harm done by the youth offender and promote healing, accountability and reconciliation.  We need people who have a stake in Seward or Greater Longfellow neighborhoods to volunteer at the conferences as a trained facilitator.

Our next facilitator training will be November 12-14.  Please contact Michele Braley at 612-338-6205 x108 or michele[AT]sng.org for more information about the training and a registration form or to inquire about other ways to get involved. This training is provided in collaboration with Restorative Justice Community Action.
