Longfellow Church Starts Plastic Recycling Program

Looking for a way to recycle plastics not accepted by the city’s recycling program? Longfellow,Seward, and other surrounding neighborhood residents can now recycle all hard-to-recycle plastics (#1-6): simply drop them off at Anne Sullivan School (3100 E. 28th St.) any Sunday between 9 a.m.-12 noon. This experimental recycling program is sponsored by Jacob’s Well (http://www.jacobs-well.net), a Longfellow church, and runs from now to the end of December. For those who would like to request a pick-up, call 612.822.0300.

I think they do accept those, Jane. At least that’s what it says. You could try calling the number (612.822.0300).
